UK-based Quartzelec will soon provide its services to Indonesia, having recently made expansions in Malaysia and The Phillippines.
The Powermax 2017 exhibition was opened with general director of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronic Engineering (ILMATE) of the Ministry, I Gusti Putu Suryawirawan, who acknowledged that Indonesia has numerous sources of energy, including renewable, that could be processed into surprising energy potential.
Gusti Putu Suryawirawan said: "If it could be achieved then the needs of the national electricity supply would be fulfilled. If we have sufficient supply of electricity then it will follow that our industry will move forwards."
The event was held between 26-28 July, in Jakarta, Indonesia, and was attended by more than 100 companies from 13 countries, including Indonesia, China, Sweden, Malaysia, the UK, the US, Germany, India, Singapore, Iran, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan.
One of the participants from Malaysia was Maser & Quartzelec Services Sdn Bhd led by Matt Brown with Power Generation director Steve Cooper, and Sales and Operations manager Leslie Roch.
